In response, Chinalco officials said, "This is an important measure of the company based on the current market situation and the development reality of Fushun Aluminum Industry, in accordance with the company's goal of turning around losses and getting out of difficulties, to implement flexible production and promote transformation and development."

Previously, Chinalco network according to industry manufacturers feedback "Fushun aluminum has stopped shipping" the news speculation that the enterprise or has stopped production, now by the relevant agencies confirmed that this news shall be the standard.

On the evening of October 27, Chinalco sent an official response to the 21st Century Business Herald reporter in response to Fushun's suspension of production. According to the company's arrangement, Fushun Aluminum began flexible production on October 10, 2015, and completed the temporary shutdown of all electrolytic aluminum production capacity on October 24, 2015.
